Alpaca Woodland Walk
A magical experience in the heart of South Devon
Welcome to Barberry Farm. Come and join us for a walk in our private woodland and secluded valley with our beautiful Alpacas. Nestled in the Devon countryside off the beaten track just a short drive away from Dartmouth and Dittisham a memorable experience awaits you.
We have been keeping Alpacas and Pygmy Goats on our farm for several years, they bring us so much enjoyment and keep us smiling and grounded, there is never a dull moment with these guys around.
Alpaca Woodland Walk
This experience lasts 1 hour.
After a welcome an introduction to our walking boys you will be given some walking tips and safety advice and paired with your Alpaca.
We will chat about all things ‘Alpaca’ as we walk. Once in the Wood, you will have the chance to stop and take photos and take in the beauty and stillness of your surroundings.
Adults and children 8 and over £28
Children aged between 8 and 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Guests £10 (you will not be permitted to come on the walk but you may stay in the spectators area and meet the animals)
I took my two daughters to walk the Alpacas whilst on holiday in Devon. The girls were nervous at first but they were soon put at ease and haven't stopped talking about how much fun they had. Would definitely recommend.
